Refried Bean lives in New York City and enjoys writing poetry, cooking, and volunteering. Refried worked in a bookstore for twelve years and has an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Refried mostly writes humor about food, animals, heaven, Christianity, and mental illness and has e-published several books of poetry, a book of stories, a novel, and three picture books.
